OK, I guess I missed this part of the discussion, but what ended up being wrong with Io? As a non-committer until just last week that has seemed like the natural choice to me.
I think that 4.0 is the natural time to change to a different scheme if that's what the community wants to do. It would have been nice to round out the list.
Oh, and there's always Carpo... ;)
